Daily Wellness Checks: Children are screened upon arrival. Those showing signs of illness will be sent home.
Sick Policy: Children must stay home if they have a fever over 100°, vomiting, diarrhea, rash, or other contagious conditions. They may return after being symptom-free for 24 hours without medication.
Medication: Prescription medication must be in the original container and accompanied by a signed Parent Consent for Administration form. Staff will only administer medication once daily.
Allergies & Special Diets: Notify the office of allergies. A doctor’s statement is required for modified diets. Allergens may be restricted from classrooms when possible.
Emergency Procedures: Monthly fire, earthquake, and shelter-in-place drills are conducted. In a major disaster, children will remain at the Center until released to an authorized adult.
Immunizations: All children must be immunized per California Department of Public Health requirements or provide valid medical exemptions.
Safety Standards: Staff are CPR and First Aid certified. The facility complies with ADA and all state licensing requirements.
